Gear slipping
Engine revs rise but the car does not pick up speed as it should.
- Low or degraded transmission fluid
- Worn clutch packs or friction plates
- Low line pressure from the valve body
- Faulty shift solenoids
Slipping creates heat and speeds up wear. Drive gently and have it checked soon.
